The complex reads as a long low block under a curved roof with a taller accommodation wing behind it, and it faces the water directly. A marina and a walkway run along the river frontage, and a transit station lies on the landward side.
Public parts include a concert hall used for touring programmes, a spa with treatment rooms, function space and a spread of restaurants and cafés at ground level. Casino Rama Resort
Casino Rama Resort stands at Rama in Ontario, on the lands of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, near the eastern shore of Lake Couchiching north of Orillia. The buildings sit low in open country, with an accommodation tower rising above a broad single-storey base. Approach is by road, and the surrounding ground is largely wooded and undeveloped.
The property holds an entertainment hall used for concerts, a spa, function rooms, and a set of restaurants running from counters to dining rooms. Guest rooms occupy the tower. The operator publishes the programme for the hall separately. What is written here concerns the resort and its public parts only.

Fallsview Casino Resort
Fallsview Casino Resort is cut into the slope above the Niagara gorge on the Canadian side, so the building steps down the hillside and its upper floors turn toward the falls. Stone and glass make up the front. The accommodation tower stands behind the main block, and a covered walkway links the property to the street on the ridge above it.
Across the public levels there is a theatre, a spa, retail galleries, function rooms and a range of restaurants, several of them facing the water. The tower holds the guest rooms. This entry sets down the resort and its public rooms and goes no further into the building.

Montréal Casino & Hotel
The Montréal complex occupies the former French and Québec pavilions of the world exposition of 1967 on Île Notre-Dame, in the Saint Lawrence river opposite the city. The French pavilion is a tall aluminium-clad structure; the Québec pavilion beside it is lower and dark-glazed. Parkland, the rowing basin and gardens surround the buildings, and a road bridge carries traffic across to the island.
Public parts include restaurants on several levels, a hall used for live programmes, terraces facing the river and the city, and function rooms. A hotel building was added to the property. Views over the water are the chief feature of the upper levels. The entry keeps to the resort and its public rooms.
